Role Function and Purpose

Our client is looking for a BDE to join their team, someone who is enthusiastic and ambitious. You will need to be able to think on your feet and be able to source new business and build a strong and robust client base across the Hospitality, Catering and Laundry Industry. As the BDE you will need to research and find potential new customers regionally and nationally, you will need to build your own database of potential customers. Once you have identified these customers you will need to communicate effectively through cold calling, social media and networking and face to face meetings to win appointments and potential new business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities nationally and regionally
  • Maintain regular contact with customer base by phone and email and updating the CRM with all relevant communication to ensure smooth communications
  • You will need to engage and communicate with customers who have contacted the client via phone, email, showroom visits, events and email/website enquiries
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on our product and services
  • Generate new Sales Reports
  • Attend regular SMT sales meetings
  • Participate and identify conferences/exhibitions when required (this may include weekends/evenings
  • Achieve KPIs (Key Performance Indicator’s) to meet overall business goals and objectives
  • Any other duties delegated by the Sales Office Manager or Directors

  • Ability to travel to customers using own vehicle or public transport
  • 3+ years in a Sales/Business Development related role
  • Proven track record of developing new business and meeting KPI targets
  • Ability to produce reports effectively when required
  • IT literate
  • Enjoy working in a small close-knit team
  • Car Owner/Drive

Salary £26, 000 - £28,000 plus commission
