Job description

Our client provides childcare in 4 locations in Waltham Forest.

They are looking for a highly experienced office manager to manage the day to day running of the office.

Candidates must be able to work at a fast pace, prioritise work and meet deadlines at peak times of the year.

Some knowledge as to how a breakfast, after school and school holiday club operates is essential.

The ability to use social media and an eye for detail to help our web designer is essential.

£9.00 per hour

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - 9.30am - 2.30pm

Purpose of job:

Overseeing the companies services, organising office operations and procedures; preparing staff hours for payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing, assigning and monitoring clerical functions.

Main Duties include

Organising meetings

Arranging appointments

Typing, proof reading

Taking bookings

Managing budgets

Booking transport

Ordering stationery, furniture, toys and equipment

Dealing with correspondence, complaints and queries

Preparing letters, presentations and reports

Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients

Implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems

Using a range of software packages

Handling staff recruitment

Attending meetings with senior management

Attending to social media
